Research using the Living Standards Measurement Study Integrated Surveys on Agriculture (LSMS-ISA)

As part of the "Agriculture in Africa: Telling Myths from Facts" project led by Luc Christaensen at the World Bank, this research group has produced a number of studies primarily using the publicly available Living Standards Measurement Study Integrated Surveys on Agriculture (LSMS-ISA) collected by the Development Reserach Group within the World Bank. These nationally representative, cross-country comparable, and agriculturally intensive data sets are currently available in Ethiopia, Malawi, Niger, Nigeria, Tanzania, and Uganda with a future planned round in Mali.

More information can be found about the "Telling Myths from Facts" project here and about the LSMS-ISA effort here.

All currently available data and documenetation can be found here. Questions about the data should be directed to the relevant parties at the World Bank.
