Joshua Charles is a senior majoring in Interdisciplinary Studies with a concentration in Economic Development and minors in Health Equities and Global Health. Broadly, he engages in research to understand the mechanisms that perpetuate the marginalization of oppressed populations. In a senior thesis, Joshua is analyzing the economic development of Indigenous populations in the states in relation to colonial institutions. In the past, he has interned for the African Forum and Network on Debt and Development to understand Zambia's debt crisis. Aside from school and research, Joshua is a proud brother of MALIK Fraternity, Incorporated, a natural bodybuilder and enjoys time with his family and close friends.
