Jialu Li is a first-year Master of Public Administration student at Cornell Jeb E. Brooks School of Public Policy, with a concentration in sustainable international development and a focus on agri-food system development and innovation. Jialu is interested in investigating sustainable approaches and impact investing in agri-food sectors.
Prior to Cornell, Jialu graduated from Beijing Foreign Studies University with a Bachelor degree in Foreign Languages and Diplomacy, majored in Malay Language. She interned at Fonterra Corporate Group, the 2nd largest dairy company in New Zealand, in the Governmental Affiars Department, assisted in market evaluation and policy/regulation analysis.
At Cornell, Jialu joins Cornell Policy Review as a contributing writer in the Environmental, Climate and Energy Policy section, focusing on agriculture-related topics. She also enjoys singing and musicals in her spare time.
