Jianqiang (Jason) Zhao is a Ph.D. student in Applied Economics and Management at Cornell University. His current research examines the inter- relationship between US food security, the use of food assistance programs, and food markets. He is also interested in food retailing and sales taxes on food products.
Jason received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Minnesota in Twin Cities and MS in applied economics from Cornell before joining the Ph.D. program.
