Tumenkhusel Avirmed is a senior from Mongolia, pursuing a Masters in Applied Economics and Management. He received a B.A. in International Agricultural and Rural Development and Environment and Sustainability from Cornell. He is passionate about international development, with a strong interest in both rural and environmental economics and development. At Cornell, he plays soccer and also works as a teaching assistant. In his free time, he enjoys playing basketball, reading, biking, or going on a horseback trail ride.
