Jenn is a Ph.D. candidate in the Dyson School of Applied Economics and Management. While Jenn's research is currently focused on resilience theory and measurement, her broad research interests include agricultural production and food security, primarily in West and East Africa. Prior to beginning her doctoral studies at Cornell, Jenn spent 5 years managing development projects and writing grant proposals for Catholic Relief Services' activities in Africa and Asia. Before joining CRS, she served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Guinea where she taught math to 9th and 10th graders in the small town of Sandenia. Jenn holds a B.A. in Mathematics from Smith College and an M.A. in International Relations from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS).
