Zixia Huang is a PhD student at Cornell University in Applied Economics and Management. He holds a M.S. degree in Applied Economics and Management and a B.A. in Economics. He studies food-related social security net programs in the U.S. and their interplay with retail markets. He is also interested in the intersection between agricultural economics and development economics, especially about the evolution of the agriculture-food value chain.
