Ziyi Lin is a second-year master's candidate in the Dyson School of Applied Economics and Management at Cornell University. She studies the influence of climate change and policy incentives on agricultural production in the U.S., China, and sub-Saharan Africa.
Her current research has two primary streams. First, she studies how agricultural productivity and farmers' benefits respond to policy incentives. Second, she uses remote sensing data to estimate how global environmental change affects agriculture. For the next step, she wishes to combine those two directions and pursue a lifelong passion: helping farmers to prevent climate-related risks.
Besides her academic pursuit, Ziyi's main hobby includes dancing and swimming.
